Welcome to the Program in Occupational Therapy at the University of Minnesota! Please feel free to browse through the site for information about our masters of occupational therapy degree program, meet the faculty, and explore our curriculum.
The Program in OT at the University of Minnesota is one of the oldest occupational therapy programs in the United States; having prepared rehabilitation aids during the first World War. Since 1946 students have learned and practiced skills of occupational therapy in our accredited, occupational therapy program. Our history demonstrates our commitment to prepare outstanding occupational therapists for the future.
Our faculty are committed to quality teaching though innovative approaches in blended online learning, focused fieldwork experiences, and supported research. Upon graduation, our students choose a variety of pathways and careers with the majority of graduates finding desired employment in medical, educational, or community settings.
